If there is one venture that has changed the landscape of Pakistan’s music culture in the past few years, it’s Coca-Cola’s pet project, Coke Studio. With the unparalleled success of the past two seasons, Coke Studio announced the launch of a bigger and better season three on May 14th, promising to bring even more national talent to the fore than ever before.

The season debuts on June 6, and by the looks of the presentation shown at the press conference, there will no doubt be some great vocal and instrumental performances to look forward to. With the likes of Abida Parveen, Arif Lohar, Fakir Juman Shah, Meesha Shafi, Tina Sani and Entity Paradigm (EP) — among a plethora of other renowned artists — taking part this season, Coke Studio is set to take Pakistan by storm yet again with its exceptionally talented and inspired team of artists.

Coke Studio continues its journey in reigniting our pride and passion and showing that music can be a means of bringing people closer and bridging the gaps that divide us. With Rohail Hyatt at the helm of this production once again, viewers are promised a blend of traditional and modern artists joining hands to create qawwalis, ghazals, soft rock and pop, each with their own distinct Coke Studio flavour.
