On August 14, 2005, Amir Adnan became the second designer ever to receive the Pride of Performance award — the first was Tee Jay in 1993. From ties to turbans, Amir Adnan has blazed a creative trail across Pakistan’s fashion firmament.
Starting his fashion career with neckties over a decade ago, Adnan has established himself as one of Pakistan’s leading menswear designers, who has been responsible for reviving the sherwani and taking it into the realm of haute couture.
Adnan’s clientele includes public figures such as our very own President Musharraf, India’s Vajpayee and Afghanistan’s Karzai. With many international and local accolades to his credit, Adnan has remained faithful to his original design ethos: working within the subcontinent’s cultural identity.
With over ten outlets in Pakistan, one in Dubai and eight in the US, Adnan has become a sartorial legend in his own time.
