On May 14, Proctor and Gamble Pakistan launched its first Social Commitment Report amidst friends, stakeholders and media members. The report outlined the initiatives undertaken by P&G Pakistan, keeping in mind the global cause of improving the health, education and life skills development among children.

Country manager Qaiser Shareef unveiled the development of the low-cost technology by the P&G Hub plant, called PuR. These water-purifier sachets de-contaminate water to make it safe for drinking.

The P&G Social Commitment programme has reached over 150 million children across the world through their global corporate cause, ‘Live, Learn and Thrive,’ and the group are committed to touch the lives of many more in the years to come. “Children are the future of our nation and therefore it is essential to invest in their development,” says Shareef.
