Hassan Sheheryar stole the show at Dubai International Fashion Week with his new 2007 collection. In addition to being the only Pakistani at the show, he had the privilege of sharing the ramp with seasoned designers, such as JJ Vallaya, Suneet Varma and Waleed Ataullah from Lebanon. The line fused typical eastern-influenced HSY designs with western cuts and drapes. The colour palette used was simply phenomenal, ranging from bright reds and oranges to subtle whites and unique shades of green.

Vaneeza Ahmed, looking dazzling as usual, opened and closed the show for HSY, while the rest of the clothes were showcased by local models. HSY is now preparing to expand not only internationally but also locally through the R2W store opening in Lahore and the recent deal with Bareezé, leading to the collaboration, aptly named BHSY.
