Queen is one of the most famous rock and roll bands in history and its frontman Freddie Mercury enjoys an iconic  status in music lore.

A new film on the band’s rise, titled Bohemian Rhapsody, which is also the name of the band’s most iconic song, has recently been released, starring Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek in the lead role.

Of Parsi descent, Freddie Mercury was born as Farrokh Bulsara in Zanzibar. He moved with his family to India and then later to England where he grew up and went on to defy convention and stereotype to become a rock legend.

Freddie Mercury and Queen fans are waiting eagerly for the film which will appear in Pakistani cinemas on November 2nd.
