HTC, in a partnership with Brightex Distributions (Pvt) Ltd, simultaneously launched two HTC concept stores at the Forum Mall and on Zamzama in Karachi recently. The Taiwanese-based company that manufactures smartphones and PDAs launched these stores to exclusively offer HTC products. The outlets will also offer after-sales support, training and other services. Earlier in 2011, HTC opened an official store in Lahore, which marked the company’s official entry into the local market, and now with their expansion in Karachi it seems that Pakistan has a sizable market for smartphones and other cutting-edge gadgets. This expansion is also a healthy sign of foreign companies investing in the country and goes to show that Pakistanis are ready for the latest, innovative products.
