The biggest draw to the new Sridevi starrer, Mom, is the veteran screen siren, of course. But Pakistani audiences will also been keen to watch their television favourites Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui, who play her daughter and husband respectively. Produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor, by all accounts, this is a Sridevi film through and through yet Sajal Ali has managed to win some accolades for her performance. An emotionally intense, revenge thriller, Nawazudin Siddiqui’s character provides some moments of comic relief. The film also stars Akshay Khanna.
