This is an investigative film, delving into the harsh world of Karachi’s factories, where men and women work for low wages and are often exploited by their employers.
The film examines the working of Labour Courts, set up to provide workers with access to justice and finds that they fall far short of their stated objective.
‘The Search for Justice’ was screened at the prestigious Himal Film Festival, Kathmandu and toured widely as part of the Travelling Film South Asia package. It was also an official selection for the ViBGYOR Film Festival, Kerala.
