On Wednesday, The Supreme Court allowed former President Pervez Musharraf to travel out of the country for medical treatment. The federal government had earlier placed his name on the Exit Control List (ECL), after he was indicted in a number of high profile cases.

However, the former army chief and president could not leave for Dubai last night after his staff was informed at the airport that his name had still not been struck off from the exit control list.
