Breaking Through

With outlets in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha and Peshawar, it was about time Lahore’s Breakout broke into the Karachi market. And it announced its arrival with a bang, by opening its first outlet in the Ocean Mall at an event managed by Moiz Kazmi and the PR team at Take II.
Specialising in hip, urban wear and accessories for men, women and children, Breakout offers something for everyone under one roof. The clothes — as well as the handbags and shoes for women — are trendy and have an urban look and feel, but unlike many other brands that offer the same quality cuts and material, Breakout is far more affordable and caters to a much wider demographic.
Hosted by the statuesque model, Tatmain, dressed in a glamorous, cream-coloured top from the store, the event boasted other celebrities as well: TV actors Sadia Imam and Sanam Baloch, and up-and-coming model, Abeer.
Choreographer Joshinder Chaggar and her talented troupe of dancers enthralled the audience with two hip-hop numbers. Parkour performers, Neil and Vernin Uchong, also joined Chaggar for some breakdancing, which went well with Breakout’s hip, urban theme.
