The Mystery-drama TV serial ‘Twin Peaks’ returns after 26 years, with an 18-episode third season directed entirely by the master of surrealism, David Lynch. Written and executive produced by Mark Frost and David Lynch, and scored by Angelo Badalamenti, the plot of the latest season — which includes the original cast members as well as new faces — revisits the town of Twin Peaks 25 years after the brutal murder of high school senior Laura Palmer. The latest season, titled ‘Twin Peaks: The Return’ is being aired exclusively on Showtime, having debuted on May 21, 2017.
