Karachi’s newest and most upmarket multi-brand store, Brands Just Pret (BJP) held its very first exhibition titled ‘Fashionville 1.’ The star-studded event also provided free nail art and eye makeup services by aestheticians from Color Studio to visitors which certainly made for an enjoyable addition to the affair. The store, located at Dolmen City Mall, is a one-stop shop for clothes, diamond jewellery, shoes and bags. The event featured the Collier collection by Tanaaz, Vintage by Nazish Lutfullah and Aisha Alam and Limited Editions Bags and Clutches. Aisha Alam’s collection consisted of a range of uncomplicated chic outfits.

Speaking at the launch, Aisha Alam said, “The response to my clothes has truly been spectacular. I think there is a huge dearth in the market for simply designed, stylish clothes.” Somaya Adnan, the managing director of BJP, has big plans for BJP: “This is just the start. We plan to have exhibitions all over Pakistan and we are planning on organising international events as well.” The store also displays collections by Sara Shahid of Sublime, Naaj by Najia, plus Usman Dittu and Ayesha Khurram. The store also displays Anis’s diamond jewellery collection and sandals by Flitz X.
